I’ve been an artist in the hip-hop space for over 10 years now and in that time I’ve learned something important….there are too many talented artists that have no clue what to do with their art. I’ve met too many artists over the years who believe the path to stardom, let alone the path to money to support yourself is a simple one. Drop a project, tweet about it a few times, get posted on Complex, label peeps game, flies you out, you sign a deal, next thing you know you’re the next Drake.

I’m here to tell you it doesn’t work like that. You need things like a proper strategy, a website, professional looking social media and so much more. A couple years ago I was doing strategy and PR work by myself. However in 2017 I was blessed with the opportunity to attend A3C in Atlanta with an agency called Taste Creators based out of Philadelphia. We’ve worked with incredible artists like Rico Nasty, Kev Rodgers, Goldsmith and others.

We do everything from strategizing to playlisting, from album rollouts, directing music videos, photo shoots and much much more.

You should hit us up here and let us know how we can help you!

ABOUT ME

What’s up everyone my name is Michael Stover. I’ve been writing about hip-hop music since 2008 over at bigsto.wordpress.com. Hip-hop gave me a place to store my emotions, a genre of music that actually understood everything I was dealing with. There was a problem though, the type of hip-hop I enjoyed wasn’t getting played on the radio, my friends didn’t know about it and my mom sure as hell didn’t want me listening to it.

So I started a blog, where I would review underground hip-hop releases that I felt was slept on. After doing that for a couple years and sharpening my pen, I was able to go on to write for places like Rapzilla, Blavity, Heavy, Kevin Nottingham, Guerilla Cross, Vibe Magazine, Genius and more.

I’ve always been driven by the passion to see hip-hop do well and part of that means making sure new artists are given a shot, and in today’s industry that can be difficult to do alone. As an artist myself that has released 10+ projects over the course of my career (so far) I know what it takes to get to that next level, where you’re locking down shows and selling records. That’s what I’m here to do for you!
